Experiences you won't find anywhere else in Colorado

Beyond rentals, Lake Dillon is home to two things no other Colorado outfitter offers — an authentic outrigger canoe club and a true wing foiling scene.

Dillon Outrigger Canoe Club

The Dillon Outrigger Canoe Club

The outrigger canoe — the wa'a— carried Polynesian voyagers across thousands of miles of open Pacific. We've carried that heritage to 9,000 feet. As the only outrigger canoe club in Colorado, we paddle six-person canoes and sleek OC-1s across Lake Dillon at sunrise and sunset, building the kind of crew and rhythm the tradition is built on.

New to outrigger? Book a guided tour and we'll teach you the stroke. Already hooked? Drop in on a club paddle or join for the season and get discounted rates on every craft we run.

Foil Colorado

Wing Foiling Lake Dillon

When the afternoon alpine wind fills in across the reservoir, we trade paddles for wings. Wing foiling rises you up onto a hydrofoil and flies you silently above the water — one of the most exhilarating things you can do on a lake, and one of the only places in Colorado you can learn it.

As the only wing foiling hub in Summit County, we coach first-timers through their very first flights and dial in technique for paddlers ready to progress. Lessons are a premium, instructor-led program — reach out and we'll build a session around your level and the day's conditions.

Who we are

Fifteen years, one mission: get you on the water

Stand Up Paddle Colorado was the first paddleboard outfitter in the state, and Lake Dillon has been our home water ever since. What started as a handful of boards has grown into the most complete paddling experience in Summit County — without ever losing the soul of it.

We believe these mountains change people. Every rental, tour, and lesson is run with respect for the lake we love and a commitment to authentic, life-changing time outdoors.

Stewards of the lake

Environmental stewardship is core to how we operate. We paddle these waters with care so the next 15 years look like the last.

Permitted on public lands

We operate on public lands under a U.S. Bureau of Land Management special-use permit — fully authorized, low-impact access.
